This weekend is going to be a victory I tell you! I even passed up Doritos on sale at my grocery store....Doritos are my favorite junk food. I walked right past them to get to the good stuff. The kale, lettuce, lemons by the bag, apples, watermelon, avocados, and bananas. The good stuff:) I had green juice for breakfast, some guacamole salad and homemade tomato soup for lunch, and dinner will be whole grain pasta with meat sauce. No garlic bread, no parmesan cheese on top. And of course my snacks will be more green juice and a green smoothie.
I got a letter letting me know that I didn't get in to nursing school. SO...I went and applied for the fitness specialist program. This will let me be a personal trainer or instructor, and if I want to go further, even sports medicine or athletics. This is a good choice for me. I like sharing my knowledge and helping people. Now I definitely have to lose this weight, or I won't have any clients! No one wants to go to a tubby trainer, lol. I was very devastated at not getting in to the nursing program, but I decided to roll with the punches and whip up a Plan B. The first course in the fitness program is a nutrition and sports performance class. I'm very interested to see what they tell me. I'm not exactly coming at it without any knowledge of nutrition. I see some spirited debates happening.
Well, good luck for the weekend, everyone!

I hope you get into the fitness specialist program. I sure could see some debates on nutrition from me if they stress eating grains 6 times a day with milk and cheese. I can never figure out that food pyramid deal. I swear it is paid for by food manufactures.
ReplyDeleteI didn't get my green juice today but I made up for it with a huge green salad. I hope.
